Over the past decade, Krishana Davis has led some of the most culturally resonant and strategically complex communications campaigns across the progressive, philanthropic, and corporate sectors. She specializes in building narrative power that centers historically excluded communities while navigating institutional priorities and public scrutiny.
Below are select case studies that demonstrate her ability to move audiences, influence policy, and reshape public narratives through integrated digital, paid media, and influencer strategies.

In Our Own Voice Action Fund – “Rooted in Power” Campaign Launch (2024)

To mark the 30th anniversary of the Reproductive Justice (RJ) framework, Krishana led the debut campaign for the newly formed In Our Own Voice Action Fund (IOOVAF) at the 2024 Democratic National Convention. The campaign elevated RJ beyond abortion rights by linking it to environmental justice, gun violence, and LGBTQ+ rights.
Highlights:
  • Reached 739K Black women voters across Meta platforms
  • Generated 1.8M impressions, 56K clicks, and secured 600+ attendees for a four-part speaker series
  • Positioned the IOOVAF President as a surrogate to Vice President Kamala Harris
  • Helped elect four Black pro-RJ women through targeted GOTV mobilization
  • Built a 28K-person email list from scratch through high-converting digital ads and influencer content (including Mari Copeny)

Goldman Sachs One Million Black Women – Narrative & Influence Strategy (2023)

Goldman Sachs launched a major research and advocacy push to close the racial wealth gap for Black women entrepreneurs. Krishana built and executed a culturally rich public narrative campaign rooted in data, lived experience, and influence strategy.
Highlights:
  • Advised on survey design and analysis to capture qualitative/quantitative economic disparities
  • Built storytelling arcs featuring Angel Reese, Dawn Staley, and Bernice King
  • Secured media coverage in top-tier Black-owned and mainstream outlets
  • Activated political momentum via the “Power of Advocacy” event featuring Mayor Andre Dickens and Symone Sanders
  • Designed a newsletter product that connected community insights to legislative solutions

IBM – AI Reputation & Policy Communications (2023–2024)
As global attention turned toward artificial intelligence, Krishana helped position IBM as a leader in ethical innovation and smart regulation. She led content strategy, messaging, and media engagement on the company’s AI principles.
Highlights:
  • Drove IBM’s inclusion in U.S. Senate AI Insight Forums and global events like the UK AI Safety Summit
  • Translated complex AI ethics issues into digestible content for business and policy audiences
  • Developed evergreen messaging playbooks, earned media strategies, and digital reputation tactics
  • Elevated IBM’s thought leadership in tech policy circles while maintaining brand credibility and trust

SEIU – Multilingual Voter Mobilization Program (2020)
During the 2020 presidential cycle, Krishana led SEIU’s multimedia voter engagement program targeting infrequent Black, Latinx, and AAPI voters across eight battleground states.
Highlights:
  • Produced 30+ culturally resonant video ads across 80+ campaigns in English and Spanish
  • Managed paid media, earned media, and influencer strategies in states like Georgia, Arizona, and Nevada
  • Delivered 450M+ content impressions, 169M video views, and 1.35M clicks to voter registration tools
  • Secured custom coverage in Black and Latinx-owned publications including Blavity and Black Enterprise
  • Demonstrated measurable impact in voter turnout shifts among low-frequency voters
